Natasha Henstridge

Henstridge is a Canadian actor from Canada. Her fame began in 1995, when she
played her first role in the sci-fi thriller Species. Then followed Species II
and Species III. She was a major character in numerous TV series including
Maximum Risk (1996). The Complete Nine Yards(2000), The Whole Ten Yards (2006),
Ghosts of Mars 2001, She Spies (2002-2004), Eli Stone (2009), and Would Be
Kings (2008). The Gemini Award for Best Actress was presented to her in this
instance. She has a role in the CBC Television Series Diggstown. Henstridge was
the daughter of Helen Henstridge, an entrepreneur and homemaker, and Brian
Henstridge who is a builder and manager. She grew up in Fort McMurray with her
younger brother Shane. Henstridge was 14 when she participated in the
Casablanca Modeling Agency’s Look of the Year contest. She was the first
runner-up. The next year, she travelled to Paris to explore her modeling
dreams. At 15 years old, she was included in Cosmopolitan's French issue.
Henstridge covered a variety of magazines covers later, and then she began to
make commercials on television for products such as Olay (Old Spice), Lady
Stetson (Lady Stetson) and more. After her modeling career had been
established, Henstridge began doing commercials but ultimately decided acting
was the thing she enjoyed best.
