Bonnie Schneider is meteorologist appearing on the various platforms of CNN and HLN. In March 2012, Bonnie will serve as the TV expert, co-executive and co-producer of an DIY NETWORK special, entitled LAST HOUSE RESISTING. Bonnie's book EXTREME WINTER came out from Palgrave Macmillan, on 31 January 2012. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. While in Boston, she also provided the entertainment and lifestyle reports as a special assignment reporter every day of the week. She worked at WFOR-TV as a weather forecaster on weekends before joining WB56. She worked in several reports and meteorology roles in News 12 Long Island - the 24-hour news channel as well as WXII-TV, the NBC affiliate station located in Winston-Salem. In New York City, she worked as a fill-in meteorologist for The Saturday Early Show for CBS.
