Alona Tal

 Alona Tal is an Israeli-American actor and singer. Her birthplace was in Herzliya on the 20th of October 1983. Her career began following her time in the Israeli Defense Forces. In 2003, she starred in an Israeli movie. This was her first big break. At the time , she appeared in two TV series in Israel. She was also a musician and recorded a number of songs with the Israeli rapper Subliminal. Tal relocated with her sister in New York in order to have a break from her professional career. In the hit song "Party to Damascus" she was part of the collaboration with Wyclef Jean from Haiti. American television also helped her establish herself, starting with a regular role in the show Veronica Mars. She initially tried out for the role of lead however the creator Rob Thomas created a new character for her. Tal eventually was offered a regular role in the short-lived CBS series. Starred in two television shows in Israel before shifting to New York. Wyclef Jean recorded a hit song. Hebrew is her mother tongue. Came in second for the character as Veronica on Veronica Mars (2004).Originally she auditioned for Veronica Mars (2004) and was Rob Thomas' second choice for the role of the title. Thomas liked her so much he created the role of Meg Manning specifically for her. The actress was part of The Israel Defense Forces. Her parents are Jewish, her father is a Turkish/Jewish man and her mother is Polish/Jewish. As Adrian's daughter, she plays Monk's murderous wife in the final episode of the season finale of Monk (2002).Has a daughter, Charlie Ferraez (b.March 7, 2017), with her husband Marcos A. Ferraez.
